Dr Pamela Brown

Chartered Educational Psychologist and Psychotherapist

Pam is a Chartered Educational Psychologist and Psychotherapist with over 25 years’ experience working with children, adolescents and adults.

Pam is an Accredited EMDR (Europe) Consultant (generic) and an Accredited EMDR (Europe) Child and Adolescent Consultant. She is a facilitator on the EMDR Association UK training courses. Pam also holds a Diploma in Psychodynamic Counselling and an Advanced Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy. Pam has continued to extend her knowledge and skills by attending various continuing professional development courses.

In her work with children, young people and adults, Pam works collaboratively with an individual (and where appropriate, with a child’s parents), drawing on various therapeutic approaches to tailor a therapeutic intervention in accordance with the individual’s unique situation and specific needs. Pam’s work is guided by positive psychology and builds on an individual’s strengths as well as providing support to help them to cope with any challenges.
