Johnny is an Occupational Psychologist who is Chartered by the British Psychological Society and Registered with the Health Professions Council. He joined the Keil Centre's human factors team in 2006 and he specialises in human factors in investigations, safety culture development, resilience management and organisational behaviour change. He has delivered projects and training in many locations across the world including South America, Asia, Africa, North America and Europe.
His current/recent work includes:
- Applying Human Factors techniques during incident investigations and training clients how to use The Keil Centre’s Human Factors Analysis Tools
- The delivery of Safety Culture Maturity® projects in pharmaceutical, construction, manufacturing and service industries
- Developing and implementing safety leadership competencies in the oil and gas and pharmaceutical industries
- Developing a variety of tools and processes to help support organisations in the measurement and development of these competencies
- Design and delivery of be-spoke training for multi-national organisations on human performance, human factors and personal resilience
- Development of The Keil Centre’s Team Resilience Assessment tool and associated training which is a process that helps clients understand the key psychosocial risks to the team
- The design and delivery of workshops for improving shift handovers in the oil and gas industry
- Design and delivery of development workshops for central government teams
- Design and delivery of Personal Resilience sessions for groups and individual
- Applying VBA programming to develop excel-based programmes used to effectively manage and analyse large amounts of data
- Delivery of 360 degree feedback in a large pharmaceutical site
