Come off the CITY BYPASS at the LOTHIANBURN JUNCTION (Hillend Dry Ski Slope to right if coming from the West). Follow the main road (Biggar Road) signed CITY CENTRE. Traffic lights at Fairmilehead - go straight onto COMISTON ROAD. Proceed straight down Comiston Road (through one set of traffic lights at Braidburn Terrace) until you come to MORNINGSIDE (Clock in centre). Turn RIGHT here into CLUNY GARDENS. Proceed straight along Cluny Gardens through one set of traffic lights, continuing into CHARTERHALL ROAD. At the end of Charterhall Road FILTER LEFT at lights into BLACKFORD AVENUE. Then take second turning to the right into ST. ALBANS ROAD. No. 5 South Lauder Road is second turning to the left after that.

Bus No. 42 from Mound comes up Causewayside. Disembark at Mayfield Church.

Bus No. 7 or 8 from North Bridge comes up Minto Street. Get off at West Mayfield.
