Coaching for Well-being and performance

Objectives

The coaching programme would be offered to individuals as a means of helping them to achieve their full potential. The programme is intended to support them in the achievement of one or more of the following objectives:

  • Enhanced individual performance in line with organisational objectives
  • Improved interpersonal effectiveness
  • Improved self-management skills
  • Identification of obstacles to the achievement of aims
  • Improved ability to manage relationships and conflict
  • Identification of personal strengths and areas for development
  • Enhanced self-confidence, well-being and resilience
  • Increased understanding of how change may impact on individual behaviour
  • Develop strategies to enhance management skills to deal with change

Our approach

We aim to go beyond the goal-setting and skills training of traditional coaching programmes to address the factors that underly the performance and well-being. We draw on psychological research into personality, cognition, motivation, behaviour and emotion to understand and improve the person's functioning.

As an organisation we can provide a range of expertise as well as flexible design that meets our clients' needs. Our aim is to deliver what is most useful to the individuals who will have the opportunity to participate in the programme. We have experience in adjusting the design and delivery of courses, or 1:1 meetings to meet changing needs that might occur during the process.

Example of areas that can be covered in sessions are:

  • Communication effectiveness
  • Understanding/coping with stress
  • Managing difficult situations
  • Getting the best out of people
  • Giving feedback
  • Problem-solving
  • Decision-making
