Ian is a Chartered Clinical Psychologist and Chartered Forensic
Psychologist, who works for The Keil Centre on a part-time
associate basis, mainly conducting medico-legal assessments.
Recent work includes:
- Employment as Head of Psychology Services at Douglas Inch
Centre, Glasgow Director of Psychological Services at the
State Hospital until 1983.
- 6 years employed as a Consultant Clinical Psychologist
with Lanarkshire Primary Care Trust, specialising in the
treatment of physical and sexual abuse victims, Post Traumatic
Stress Disorder, anger management and patients suffering
from anxiety and stress related problems.
- Provision of Forensic Psychology service to the Courts
and Lawyers, completing between 55 and 75 medico-legal reports
per annum with approximately equal numbers for Pursuers
and Defenders and the Courts.
