Beth graduated in Psychology from Aberdeen University in
1982 and trained in Clinical Psychology in Newfoundland, Canada,
graduating in 1984 with a M.Sc. She completed her PhD in 2000
and a M.Sc. in Management Studies in 2002.
For the past 20 years Beth has worked in the NHS in a wide
variety of settings with people of all ages, including Mental
Health and as Head of Clinical Psychology.
Beth uses a variety of interventions in her treatment, including
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), psychotherapy, brief
therapies and health management. She works with individuals,
couples or families, and also with organisations (eg. issues
arising from staff attitude, critical incidents, stress management)
